![]() ![]() ![]() **Edit** OK FIXED IT - Had to re re-install Windows 365, right before opening in safe mode, then normal mode, and it worked, on my Mac I had reinstalled yesterday not today, but my co-worker had re-installed just before the Safe mode test. ![]() The others could check for updates but then needed permission to do so.Īny help on this would be great, although my computing skills stop at anything to do with actual coding etc. The very annoying thing is that these macs are all the same age with the same software, and for the life of me I can't figure out why one still lets excel work totally normally, only difference I can work out was it was set to let Microsoft auto update while Only way I could find to open excel was to create a second account, in which it can open just fine, but just starting everything over again in a new account on these work macs is very much a last resort, I think we would just use the Numbers app first! On the mac I am using to trouble shoot this, I have preformed various Disk Utility Repairs, I have reinstalled Excel, and then Reinstalled all of Office from the App Store, tried the 'Insider Slow' option to try and update Microsoft Office to the latestĪvailable update, all still getting the same problem. ![]()
